Three Arrested in Randolph County Larceny Case

Roberts, Routh, and Locklear Face Felony Charges

RANDOLPH COUNTY, NC — The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office arrested three individuals following a larceny in progress on Nov. 27, 2025, along US Hwy 311 in Archdale.

Robbie Avalon Roberts, 59, and Amanda Renee Routh, 41, were apprehended on the scene and charged with multiple felonies, including drug-related offenses and larceny. Both were held without bond, with a first court appearance scheduled for Nov. 28, 2025.

During the incident, deputies pursued Leigh Ann Locklear, 33, who fled from an unrelated vehicle. Locklear was found in possession of fentanyl and initially gave a false identity. She faces felony charges for identity theft and drug possession. Locklear was issued a $30,000 secured bond for the new charges and a $60,000 bond for outstanding arrest warrants, with her first court appearance set for Dec. 1, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.

Authorities continue to investigate the larceny and related criminal activity.
