Porterville, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) — Three individuals were arrested after allegedly stealing several items, including a large appliance and credit cards, from a home in Porterville, according to the Porterville Police Department.

On April 14, police responded to a report from a victim on the 400 block of West Westfield Avenue who stated that unknown individuals had entered their home over the weekend and stolen property, including a large appliance and credit cards. Authorities noted that one of the stolen credit cards was later used for unauthorized purchases at various locations within the city.

Through the investigation, police identified the suspects as Frank Rojas, 44, Javier Camacho, 42, and Stella Castro, 45. Rojas and Camacho are from Strathmore, while Castro is from Porterville.

On Tuesday, detectives obtained and executed search warrants at the homes of Rojas and Camacho. During the search, Rojas was found in possession of drug paraphernalia, and Camacho attempted to flee on foot, but was apprehended after a brief chase. Some of the stolen property was recovered, and evidence linking the suspects to the crime was discovered.

Castro was later located and taken into custody.

All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Tulare County Jail, where they are being held pending further proceedings.
