PAXTON — The Paxton Police Department, with help from the Ford County Sheriff’s Office, arrested three residents after executing a search warrant Tuesday morning, July 1, at a home on 611 E. Center St.

Officers recovered stolen property including Harley-Davidson motorcycle parts, collector cards, and fishing equipment. They also seized multiple baggies containing methamphetamine, cannabis, hydrocodone, and digital scales.

The raid followed investigations into recent residential burglaries on Paxton’s east side. On June 30, another burglary was reported in the 500 block of North Union Street involving stolen Harley-Davidson parts.

The suspects arrested were:

Chad A. Matherne, 50 — charged with residential burglary, theft/possession of stolen property, possession of less than 5 grams of methamphetamine, and possession of 93 grams of cannabis with intent to deliver.
