Three Arrested in New Hartford for Felony Drug Charges

Todd Williams, Jazmond Davis, and Desmond Washington Face Drug Possession Charges

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. – A drug investigation in New Hartford led to the arrest of three men on February 27. The New Hartford Police Department, executing a search warrant at 63 Oakdale Ave., seized crack cocaine, drug scales, and packaging materials linked to illegal drug activity.

Todd Williams, 52, was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, along with misdemeanor charges for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Jazmond Davis, 42, was similarly charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges for possession and paraphernalia use.

Desmond Washington, 48, faces two felony charges, including criminal possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia possession, in addition to misdemeanor charges.

The men were taken to the Oneida County Jail and will be arraigned. The New Hartford Police Department thanked the Utica Police Department Special Investigations Unit and the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit for their assistance in the investigation, which helped shut down a local drug operation.
