Three Arrested in Karnal for Vehicle Thefts, Stolen Items Recovered

Shamshad, Nazim, and Sunil taken into custody after vehicle theft investigation.

The Karnal police’s Anti-Auto Theft Unit successfully arrested three individuals linked to multiple vehicle thefts, with the authorities recovering several stolen items, including two trailers, a tractor, and two motorcycles.

The arrested suspects have been identified as Shamshad, also known as Soni, a resident of Kohand, Nazim from Shamli, UP, and Sunil from Kattabagh in Karnal. According to Sub-Inspector Rohtash Singh, in charge of the unit, the three were later sent to judicial custody.

The investigation began with a tip-off that led to the arrest of Shamshad and Nazim along Meerut Road. During questioning, they confessed to stealing two trailers. The police promptly recovered both trailers and the tractor involved in the thefts.

Additionally, police arrested Sunil near the Baldi bypass, recovering a stolen scooter and a motorcycle from his possession.
