Three Arrested in Fort Myers Robbery and Kidnapping Case

Lee County suspects charged in jewelry theft and carjacking

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Three individuals from Fort Myers have been arrested in connection with a Sunday robbery and kidnapping, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Juliann Tyler, 20; Dustin Taylor, 29; and Dave Paul, 20, are accused of robbing a man of his jewelry, restraining him with duct tape, and carjacking his vehicle to the victim’s home, where they stole additional items.

During the investigation, the victim positively identified Dustin Taylor from a lineup.

Taylor was taken into custody Wednesday at his workplace, while Tyler and Paul were arrested Thursday at a Fort Myers residence.

Dave Paul faces multiple charges, including robbery with a firearm, carjacking with a weapon, kidnapping an adult, grand theft, burglary, and possession of a controlled substance.

Dustin Taylor was charged with robbery with a firearm, carjacking with a weapon, kidnapping, grand theft, and burglary.

Juliann Tyler was arrested for accessory to the crimes.
