Three Arrested in Connection with Theft Incidents in Jasper

William Miller, Gabriel Channell, and Joseph Whitten face charges following recent thefts in the area

JASPER, AL — The Jasper Police Department has arrested three individuals in connection with several thefts that have recently occurred in the area.

Authorities arrested 21-year-old William Miller, 27-year-old Gabriel Channell, and 18-year-old Joseph C. Whitten on February 18.

Miller faces multiple charges, including first-degree theft of property, third-degree theft, unlawful breaking and entering, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He is currently being held on an $81,000 bond.

Channell and Whitten, both homeless, have been charged with third-degree theft of property. Each is being held on a $7,500 bond.

The Jasper Police Department continues to investigate the thefts, and more updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
