Three Arrested in Carter Co. Drug Case

Fentanyl and meth found in stolen vehicle

CARTER COUNTY, Ky. — Three individuals were arrested after deputies discovered illegal drugs in a stolen vehicle, according to the Carter County Sheriff’s Office.

On Dec. 22, 2025, deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle near State Highway 174. The vehicle was located, and deputies conducted an investigation.

During the search, authorities found approximately 172 grams of fentanyl and methamphetamine inside the stolen car.

The three occupants were arrested and charged with:

Trafficking in a controlled substance (carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives)

Trafficking in a controlled substance (more than two grams of methamphetamine)

Receiving stolen property

Those arrested include:

Daniel Conn, 53, of Olive Hill

Willie Greenhill, 38, of Olive Hill

Rachel Bays, 32, of Morehead

All three are currently held at the Carter County Detention Center awaiting further proceedings.
