Jammu Police arrested three individuals from Delhi and Madhya Pradesh today in connection with a theft case reported in the Trikuta Nagar area.
On December 16, 2024, Ruby Trikha, wife of Lt. Major Sandeep Trikha, filed a complaint reporting the theft of electronics and other household items from their residence in Sector-1, Trikuta Nagar.
Following the complaint, a case was registered at Trikuta Nagar Police Station, and an investigation was launched.
During the probe, three suspects—Azad of Narola, Delhi (currently residing in Trikuta Nagar), and Suresh Anuragi and Dashrat Ahirwar, both from Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh—were detained for questioning.
The trio confessed to the theft during sustained interrogation, leading to the recovery of stolen items including three gas cylinders, a refrigerator, an LCD TV, an inverter, an inverter battery, and other household goods.
The arrests were made under the supervision of SHO Rajesh Jasrotia. Further investigation is ongoing.
