by Ananya Mehta

On Monday, Jaipur (rural) police arrested three individuals for smuggling 255 units of blood in seven cartons. The blood was being transported from Makrana in Didwana-Kuchaman to Sawai Madhopur in Jobner without valid documents or permission, raising suspicion of illegal blood trafficking.

The accused, identified as Mohammed Jabir, Mohammed Amin, and Shravan Singh, all residents of Didwana-Kuchaman, were apprehended during the operation. Jaipur (rural) SP Anand Sharma stated that during questioning, the accused claimed the blood was collected from a donation camp in Makrana and intended for a blood centre in Sawai Madhopur. However, the lack of proper authorization has led to their arrest.

Police are continuing investigations into the case.
