Three Arrested for Rs 40 Lakh Burglary in Vasant Kunj, Delhi

Accused stole cash and jewelry from a flat on February 9

Three individuals were arrested on Friday in connection with a significant burglary at a flat in Southwest Delhi’s Vasant Kunj. The police identified the accused as Virender Kumar (35), Vedpal (36), and Mukesh Kumar Mishra (33), who are believed to have stolen Rs 10 lakh in cash and high-value gold, diamond, platinum, and silver jewelry worth around Rs 30 lakh.

The robbery occurred on the night of February 9, and the police were able to apprehend the suspects after conducting a thorough investigation. The stolen items, including valuable jewelry, have been recovered from the accused. The police are now working to identify if the gang was involved in other similar crimes in the area.

According to officials, the suspects had carefully planned the crime and were able to gain entry to the flat unnoticed. They are currently being interrogated to determine if they have any involvement in other criminal activities in the region.
