On April 17, jeweller Paresh Soni from Rawatbhata was robbed of gold, silver jewellery, Rs 5 lakh in cash, and a mobile phone in the Bhainsrorgarh area of Chittorgarh district. The incident occurred when Soni was returning home on his motorcycle after closing his shop, Bhavna Jewellers in Sigoli. Four unknown assailants deliberately hit his motorcycle near Shripura, assaulted him, and carried out the robbery.

Following a case registration at Bhainsrorgarh police station, Chittorgarh SP Sudhir Joshi assigned a special team, led by Bhainsrorgarh SHO Lakshmichand Verma and supervised by Rawatbhata ASP Bhagwat Singh Hingad and DSP Kamal Prasad Meena, to investigate the matter. Cyber cell experts Ramavatar and Ramnaresh assisted the team with technical support.

The coordinated investigation led to the identification and arrest of three suspects: Dilip Kanjar from Mandawari in the Begun police station area, Raju Mewada, son of Manohar Lal Mewada, also from Begun, and Bablu Chaudhary from Sigoli in Neemuch district, Madhya Pradesh.

The accused were presented in court and remanded to police custody as the investigation continues.
