WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. — Three individuals were arrested in connection with an armed robbery that took place in Williamsburg County on November 30. The robbery resulted in one man being injured.

The Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of the armed robbery on Brownlee Street in Hemingway. Upon arrival, the victim told deputies that two masked attackers had forcibly entered his home, stole personal belongings, and left him injured. A woman named Heaven Lynn Cook was also with the victim when deputies initially arrived.

Authorities believe that Cook played a key role in facilitating the robbery, though she initially acted as a victim during the theft.

On December 2, 19-year-old Heaven Lynn Cook was arrested and charged with armed robbery and criminal conspiracy. Dyquan Tywan Young, 27, was arrested and charged with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Tyrone Marquise Palmer, 18, was apprehended by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) on December 30. Palmer faces charges of armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and first-degree burglary.

All three suspects have been booked into the Williamsburg County Detention Center. The investigation into the robbery remains ongoing.
