WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Three suspects, Shartavius Dunkley, Anaisha Charlot, and Travis Smith, were arrested for causing over $28,000 in losses by stealing alcohol from Walgreens stockrooms across multiple Florida counties, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO).
Between November 2024 and January 2025, the trio allegedly targeted Walgreens stores in Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, and Brevard counties. Deputies say their method involved one suspect distracting the store clerk while another accessed the liquor through a gap between shelving units leading to a restricted cooling area.
Large quantities of liquor, valued between $1,200 and $6,000 per theft, were reportedly removed through an emergency exit, where a getaway vehicle awaited. Walgreens reported a total of 11 such incidents during this period.
On July 30, the PBSO’s South Florida Criminal Apprehension Team, in coordination with the Florida Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution, secured arrest warrants for Dunkley, Charlot, and Smith.
Charges include:
Anaisha Charlot, 27: Robbery, Organized Retail Theft, Burglary of a Structure
Shartavius Dunkley, 19: Robbery, Organized Retail Theft, Burglary of a Structure
Travis Smith, 20: Organized Retail Theft, Burglary of a Structure
The suspects were booked accordingly and remain in custody as the investigation continues.
