Thomas Singleton Arrested for Card Theft, Meth Possession

Suspect stole $1.6K in sports cards from Target in Florida

BUNNELL, Fla. — A 46-year-old man, Thomas Singleton, has been arrested after allegedly stealing over $1,600 worth of sports trading cards from a Target store in Palm Coast, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred on Friday, September 13, when store employees reported seeing Singleton take multiple boxes of NFL and NBA trading cards before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

Deputies quickly located Singleton’s car and conducted a felony traffic stop. During the search, officers discovered 38 stolen boxes of sports cards in the trunk and a small amount of methamphetamine in the backseat.

Target employees confirmed the stolen merchandise totaled $1,649.55, and the cards were returned to the store.

Singleton is now facing charges of:

Grand Theft (shoplifting $750 to $5,000)

Possession of Methamphetamine

He remains in custody as the investigation continues.
