YATES COUNTY, N.Y. (WETM) – A dual citizen of the United Kingdom and Germany has been arrested in connection with a 2024 rape investigation in Yates County, New York.
Thomas Plan, 30, turned himself in to Yates County investigators on the morning of Friday, August 15, after learning of an active superior court warrant for his arrest.
Plan was indicted by a Yates County Grand Jury on the following charges:
Rape in the First Degree (Class B felony)
Rape in the Third Degree (Class E felony)
The charges stem from an incident that reportedly occurred in 2024. Following his court appearance, Plan was processed and held at the Yates County Jail on $10,000 cash bail, but has since bonded out.
The investigation is ongoing.
