LANGHORNE, PA — A 55-year-old Warminster man has been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal drug overdose of a woman in Middletown Township last year, authorities announced Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

Thomas Joseph Hall faces the following charges:

Drug delivery resulting in death

Possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance

Involuntary manslaughter

Criminal use of a communication facility

Recklessly endangering another person

Possession of a controlled substance

Possession of drug paraphernalia

He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Daniel Baranoski and is being held at Bucks County Correctional Facility on $500,000 bail.

The charges stem from a June 4, 2024 incident when officers from the Middletown Township Police Department were dispatched to a home on the 900 block of Poplar Street in Langhorne. A man had called 911 reporting that his girlfriend was unresponsive.

Responding police and paramedics discovered 57-year-old Gisela Leair deceased in a bedroom. An investigation later determined her cause of death to be a drug overdose, prompting a deeper probe that ultimately led back to Hall.

Authorities allege that Hall supplied the drugs that caused Leair’s death.

The case remains under investigation by the Middletown Township Police Department and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.
