The Thiruvananthapuram Rural police arrested A.R. Affan on Thursday, the prime accused in the brutal murder of five of his family members in Venjaramoodu.
The Pangode police recorded his arrest for the alleged murder of his paternal grandmother, Salma Beevi, at her residence in Thazhe Pangode. Affan is also linked to two other murder cases, which were registered at the Venjaramoodu police station.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the case and further details are awaited.
