Theresa Thompson, Penelope Vlado Arrested in Laurel Theft

Authorities in Laurel have arrested two suspects in connection with a theft at a local apartment complex.

Theresa Thompson, 46, and Penelope Vlado, 23, were taken into custody following the theft of over $1,000 worth of merchandise from the apartment complex’s mailroom. Stolen items reportedly included cell phones, clothing, jewelry, and beauty products.

Both individuals face multiple burglary, theft, and related charges. The investigation remains active as detectives continue to recover additional items reported missing.
