Terry Houston Arrested for Hiding Fugitive in Kentucky Home

Herbert Ward found with drugs, shotgun in Houston's home

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY – A local man, Terry Houston, was arrested after deputies discovered he was hiding Herbert Ward, a wanted man with active warrants, inside his Graham home.

According to the Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department, law enforcement officials arrived at Houston’s residence on Harps Hill Road to serve warrants on Ward. When questioned, Houston denied Ward was present.

However, during a search of the property, officers located Herbert Ward hiding in a bedroom closet. In the same room, deputies also found approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine and a 12-gauge shotgun.

Ward was arrested and charged with his outstanding warrants, along with additional charges including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and trafficking a controlled substance.

Houston was also taken into custody and charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Both men are currently being held at the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
