MILLBROOK, AL — A Montgomery man has been arrested in connection with multiple thefts at a major retailer in Millbrook.

According to Police Chief P.K. Johnson, 39-year-old Terrence Lamons was taken into custody on June 19 after Walmart Loss Prevention staff identified him onsite and notified authorities. Lamons was already suspected in several previous theft incidents at the same location.

Millbrook police responded quickly and arrested Lamons without incident. He was initially charged with two counts of Organized Retail Theft.

In addition, Walmart Loss Prevention personnel filed warrants for Theft of Property 4th Degree and Criminal Trespassing, tied to merchandise Lamons allegedly stole from the store just prior to his arrest that day.

Lamons is currently being held at the Elmore County Jail on a $60,000 bond.
