Terrence Gardner Arrested in Willowick Armed Robbery

Suspect charged with assault and firearm theft

WILLOWICK, Ohio — A 46-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting and robbing a man outside a Willowick apartment early Monday, taking the victim’s firearm before fleeing the scene.

Police responded around 3 a.m. to Willowick Towers, located at 31900 North Marginal Road, where they found the injured victim. The victim reported that the suspect had stolen his gun and ran from the scene.

Investigators identified the suspect as Terrence Michael Gardner, who was charged in Willoughby Municipal Court with aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, and aggravated menacing.

Gardner was arrested Monday without incident and transferred to Willowick police custody. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment and was denied bond. Gardner is currently being held at the Lake County Jail.
