EUFAULA, Ala. — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a man and the discovery of drugs and cash at a residence in Eufaula.
Terrance Dawkins was initially taken into custody on March 21 by the Eufaula Police Department due to an active warrant. Following the stop, officers conducted a search at a home located in the 100 block of Dogwood Circle, where additional evidence was uncovered.
During the search, authorities reported seizing approximately four pounds of marijuana, along with a digital scale and an undisclosed amount of cash. Dawkins now faces an additional charge of drug trafficking in connection with the findings.
Another individual, Brianna Slater, was also arrested during the traffic stop on separate active warrants. Officials have not released further details regarding her charges.
The investigation remains ongoing.
