Phagwara police apprehended a drug peddler, identified as Tejbir Singh, also known as Patwari, a resident of Model Town, Phagwara. The arrest took place Thursday night at a checkpoint near Satlej Hospital, Phagwara.
Authorities recovered 75 intoxicating tablets from his possession during the arrest. A case has been registered against Tejbir Singh under the relevant narcotics laws. Further investigation is ongoing.
