NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery on Lincoya Bay Drive, thanks to fast coordination between Hermitage Precinct officers and Robbery Operations detectives.
Kenneth Jordan, 16, and Mykel Couch, 14, allegedly robbed a victim at gunpoint, stealing a cell phone and bank card. The victim later tracked the phone to a location on Dickerson Pike, where police found the teens in a stolen vehicle with a broken rear window.
When approached, both suspects fled into a nearby apartment but were quickly apprehended by officers. Inside, police recovered two stolen firearms—one taken on June 5 from a vehicle on Harding Place and another stolen on June 14 from a car on Dickerson Pike.
The vehicle the teens fled from had been reported stolen on June 23 from Lucile Street. Officers also recovered the victim’s cell phone and bank card from inside the car.
Jordan and Couch are now facing three counts of aggravated robbery each and have been charged in Juvenile Court.
