EAU CLAIRE COUNTY, Wis. — A Mondovi man and local tattoo artist, 44-year-old Christopher Ardoin, is facing serious criminal charges following multiple reports of sexual assault.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Eau Claire County, Ardoin has been charged with one count of third-degree sexual assault and four counts of fourth-degree sexual assault. The alleged incidents occurred while he was working at Skin Prints, a tattoo shop located at 403 South Farwell Street in Eau Claire.
The investigation began after several individuals came forward independently, accusing Ardoin of inappropriate and unwanted sexual behavior. The complaint outlines the experiences of three separate victims.
One of the victims reported the assault to the owners of Skin Prints on February 25, 2025, after which Ardoin’s employment was terminated.
Court records indicate Ardoin posted a $1,000 cash bond, and a court hearing is scheduled for July 15, 2025.
