CLEAR LAKE, Iowa — A hotel employee has been arrested after allegedly stealing items from guest rooms at a Clear Lake hotel where she worked.
According to the Clear Lake Police Department, officers received multiple theft reports in November 2025 and January 2026 from the Best Western Holiday Lodge.
On February 23, police executed a search warrant at a residence in Swaledale. As a result of the search, Tara Ann Bohr, 44, was arrested on three counts of third-degree theft.
Authorities said several items previously reported stolen were recovered during the search. Bohr is currently being held at the Cerro Gordo County Jail, and the investigation remains ongoing.
