Tandric Tyre, Latonya Darrisaw Arrested in Fentanyl Case

New Bern drug bust targets fentanyl and meth trafficking

NEW BERN, NC — The Craven County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Bureau executed a search warrant at a motel in New Bern on November 19 as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, resulting in the arrest of two local individuals.

Tandric Euron Tyre, 47, faces multiple felony charges, including:

Two counts of trafficking fentanyl

Five counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver fentanyl

Felony possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl

Two counts of possession of cocaine

Maintaining a dwelling for the sale of controlled substances

Two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Felony possession of a stolen firearm

Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia

Latonya Tameka Darrisaw, 44, was charged with:

Conspiracy to traffic fentanyl

Felony possession of fentanyl and cocaine

Maintaining a dwelling for the sale of controlled substances

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Both Tyre and Darrisaw are currently held at the Craven County Confinement Facility as the investigation continues.
