TIFFIN, OH — A 27-year-old man, Takomah T. Daniels, was arrested on Thursday and charged with aggravated burglary after an armed home invasion on Seneca Street.
According to Lt. Det. Mark Marquis, officers from the Tiffin Police Department responded to a report of an armed intruder earlier that morning. The homeowner told police that an unknown individual had entered their residence and pointed a handgun at them.
Investigators were able to track Daniels to Tiffin Mercy Hospital, where he was receiving treatment for an injury allegedly sustained during a prior encounter at the same address.
Following additional information and investigation, Daniels was arrested on probable cause and taken into custody.
He is currently held at the Seneca County Jail and is expected to make an initial appearance soon at the Seneca County Common Pleas Court.
