by Sophia Bennett

A Boynton Beach woman was arrested Tuesday evening on suspicion of child abuse, according to a report filed by local authorities.

The suspect, identified as Takiyah Renee Henry, a Black female, was taken into custody under Report No. 565064. The report, filed by the Boynton Beach Police Department (Agency 34–Boynton Beach), was published online at 8:47 p.m. on January 27, 2026.

Authorities said Henry is suspected of cruelty toward a child, specifically for allegedly abusing a child without causing great bodily harm. Further details, including the child’s age or the circumstances of the alleged abuse, were not released. Henry’s date of birth was also not included in the report.

Law enforcement officials emphasized that an arrest reflects an allegation and does not indicate guilt. All charges will be addressed through the court system, where Henry is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The Boca Raton Tribune will continue to monitor official records and provide updates as additional information becomes available.
