WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Authorities in West Palm Beach arrested a woman late Friday night in connection with an alleged theft, according to official booking records.

The suspect, identified as Tabatha Ann Neal, was taken into custody on suspicion of larceny classified as “other theft.” The arrest was documented under Report No. 564443 and published at 10:20 p.m. on January 2, 2026, records show. The case was filed by the West Palm Beach Police Department.

Police have not released details regarding the property allegedly taken, its value, or the circumstances that led to Neal’s arrest. Following her detention, the case is expected to be reviewed by prosecutors to determine whether formal charges will be filed.

Under Florida law, theft offenses can carry varying penalties depending on the value of the property involved and other factors.

As with all criminal cases, the charge represents an allegation, and Neal is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
