The Cyber-Crime Branch of Bhopal announced the arrest of Syed Parvez Hashmi, a wanted cyber-fraud suspect who had evaded authorities for over four years. Hashmi, who carried a reward of Rs10,000, was apprehended in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.

During the arrest, the authorities recovered key evidence including three mobile phones, four SIM cards, an ATM card, and a Wi-Fi router. Hashmi, who is educated up to Class 12, allegedly orchestrated the operation with help from other accomplices.
