In a swift breakthrough, Filmnagar Police arrested three individuals in connection with a house burglary and recovered stolen property worth Rs2.2 lakh, including two diamond rings, a pair of earbuds, and an electric two-wheeler used in the crime.
The arrested accused have been identified as:
Beemavarapu Swaraj (21)
Bolli Karthik alias Karthik (22)
Neredumalli Sandeep (21)
The burglary came to light after C. Raju, a resident of Filmnagar, filed a complaint on March 14, stating that an unknown person entered his house and stole valuables from the second and third floors. The suspects escaped on a two-wheeler with stolen items, including diamond rings and earbuds.
Based on CCTV footage and technical surveillance, including location tracking of the stolen earbuds, police identified the accused. On March 19, the trio was caught red-handed while attempting to sell the stolen items near Shaikpet Nala.
The police registered a case under Sections 305(A) and 331(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for theft and house trespass. Further investigation is ongoing to verify any links to other theft cases in the city.
