JAGIROAD: In a swift operation, Jagiroad Police recovered a stolen mobile phone on Friday night from the residence of Suresh Boro of Madhavnagar, following a complaint filed by a woman named Bandana Das.
While searching Boro’s home, police found not only the phone belonging to the complainant but also three additional stolen mobile phones hidden at the premises.
Acting on further leads, the police arrested four more individuals in connection with the case:
Atabur Rahman
Akhtar Hussain
Rafiqul Ali, all from Boha Pahar, Jagiroad
Zubaid Alam from Mangaldai
An additional seven stolen mobile phones were recovered from their possession.
The police have launched a deeper investigation to determine the extent of the theft network and whether the suspects are linked to other similar cases in the region.
