Suraj, Surjit Singh Arrested for 286g Heroin in Kurukshetra

Kurukshetra police seize heroin worth Rs 15 lakh

The Anti-Narcotic Cell (ANC) of Kurukshetra police has arrested two Punjab residents in connection with the recovery of 286 grams of heroin, estimated to have a market value of around Rs 15 lakh.

The accused have been identified as Suraj, a resident of Patiala, and Surjit Singh from Kapurthala. Acting on a tip-off regarding Suraj’s involvement in heroin distribution, police deployed a team near Bodhni village in Pehowa. Suraj was intercepted on a two-wheeler, and the heroin was recovered from his possession.

Following further investigation, Surjit Singh was also taken into custody.
Kurukshetra ANC in-charge, Satvinder Singh, confirmed that the investigation is ongoing to trace the supply network and other individuals involved in the narcotics trade.
