BEND, Ore. — A Bend woman, Sunshine Wright, 48, was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of trafficking fentanyl and methamphetamine from Portland to Central Oregon, authorities said Thursday.

According to Lt. Mike Landolt of Central Oregon Drug Enforcement (CODE), Wright was stopped on Highway 26 near Cherry Lane in Jefferson County for traffic violations and suspicion of drugs in the vehicle.

After a K9 alert, CODE detectives obtained a search warrant and recovered approximately 80 grams of fentanyl, 80 grams of methamphetamine, and over 10 grams of cocaine, along with drug paraphernalia. Wright was booked into the Jefferson County Jail.

Jefferson County prosecutors have charged Wright with four felony counts related to the manufacture, possession, and delivery of meth and fentanyl. Her arraignment is scheduled for Nov. 28.
