SENATOBIA, Miss. (WMC) — Three men have been arrested following a major narcotics raid at two Senatobia businesses, authorities announced Thursday.
At 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, the Senatobia Police Department, with support from the Mississippi Alcoholic Beverage Commission, served search warrants at Senatobia Tobacco and Beer and 51 Tobacco and Beer, both located on Highway 51.
The action followed a several-month investigation into suspected illegal drug activity at the stores.
During the raids, officers seized:
Nearly two dozen large boxes of evidence
Several thousand dollars in cash
Five vehicles and one motorcycle
As a result of the investigation, Sultan Alsneigh, Ismael Muslah, and Abddulrahman Shatera were arrested. All three face charges of sale and possession of illegal narcotics and conspiracy to commit crimes.
Authorities have not disclosed further details about the nature of the drugs or the duration of the operation.
