In a serious allegation of cheating and breach of trust, Sub-Inspector Vijay Sahu, posted at Balipal police station in Balasore district, Odisha, was arrested for allegedly deceiving a woman in Jaleswar block.
Reports state that Vijay Sahu had promised to marry the woman and was involved in a physical relationship with her. However, he later refused to marry her, prompting the woman to file a formal complaint with the police.
Following the complaint, the police took action and arrested the Sub-Inspector. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
