A 21-year-old university student, Muhammad Yushakimi Jamaludin, was charged in Pasir Mas Sessions Court, Kelantan, for sexual offences involving his 17-year-old girlfriend, a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) candidate.
The charges stem from an incident on 29 November, during which the pair allegedly engaged in sexual acts inside a parked Perodua Myvi. The car had previously been involved in a high-speed chase with the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) in Jeli, Kelantan, after officers found it suspiciously parked.
Yushakimi faces two counts of performing oral sex under Section 377A of the Penal Code, punishable under Section 377B with a maximum of 20 years’ imprisonment and whipping. He is also charged under Section 14(d) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, which carries severe penalties.
During proceedings on 9 December 2025, Deputy Public Prosecutor Siti Aiysha Na’ilah Harizan proposed bail of RM20,000, but the judge granted RM10,000 with one surety, considering the accused’s age and his pending university graduation. His parents, from Ipoh, posted bail.
The case is scheduled for remention on 11 January 2026.
