Stolen Bike Recovered in Fakirganj, Two Suspects Arrested

Uttarakhand rider's bike stolen from Sarusajai guest house found with the help of joint police efforts.

In a swift and coordinated police operation, authorities successfully recovered a stolen bike belonging to an Uttarakhand rider, Noni, in Fakirganj, South Salmara Mankachar district. The vehicle had been taken from a guest house in Sarusajai, and thanks to the combined efforts of Basishta Police Station and Fakirganj Police, it was tracked down in the Prem Bazar area of Fakirganj.

Following the recovery, two suspects were apprehended. The accused have been identified as Firoz Qazi, son of Afsar Kazi from Balatari village, and Ashraful Dewan, son of Abdul Jobbar from Basanipara village in Fakirganj. Both individuals were transported to Guwahati overnight for further investigation into their involvement in the theft.

Authorities are now conducting additional inquiries to uncover the full scope of the theft and explore potential links to a larger criminal network involved in vehicle thefts in the region. This incident has raised alarm over the rising number of vehicle thefts in the area, prompting local authorities to take further action to curb such crimes.
