SAN JOSE, Calif. — A Stockton couple was arrested last week on suspicion of drug and weapons violations after an investigation into their alleged narcotics sales in the Bay Area.
The San Jose Police Department initiated the investigation after intercepting a fentanyl sale in early December. Authorities said the male suspect, identified as 37-year-old Justin Dixon, was regularly traveling between the Central Valley and the Bay Area to distribute illegal narcotics.
Investigators also uncovered that Dixon’s girlfriend, 27-year-old Jade Linhthasack, had been illegally purchasing firearms for Dixon, who is prohibited from owning them. After obtaining arrest and search warrants, officers arrested the pair on Thursday with the assistance of the Stockton Police Department SWAT Team and other units.
Dixon was booked on suspicion of narcotics sales and illegal firearms possession, while Linhthasack faced charges related to the illegal firearms purchases. During the search, authorities seized 13 firearms, including a semiautomatic pistol, an assault rifle, and another rifle with illegal modifications. Two of the firearms were stolen, two had destroyed serial numbers, and two were unregistered.
In addition to the weapons, police seized large quantities of drugs, including cocaine, oxycodone, promethazine, cannabis, and illegal prescription medications. The search also revealed designer items, including watches, purses, shoes, and clothing, as well as diamonds and gold, believed to have been purchased with proceeds from the narcotics and firearm sales.
Dixon is being held in jail on a $540,000 bail and is set to appear in court on Monday. Linhthasack has also been booked into the San Joaquin County Main Jail.
