LAFAYETTE, La. — Two suspects have been charged in connection with the March 1 murder of a Lafayette woman, according to local authorities.
Steven Mamou and Timothy Melancon have both been charged as accessories to second-degree murder in the death of 24-year-old Marisha Felix.
Felix was found shot to death in her vehicle in the 800 block of Martin Luther King Drive in Lafayette.
The alleged shooter, 17-year-old Shawntrell Sampy, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the case.
The investigation remains ongoing.
