Steven Austen Lynn Faces Drug Charges in Lee County, Iowa

Fort Madison man charged with multiple felony and misdemeanor counts

LEE COUNTY, Iowa — Steven Austen Lynn, 27, of Fort Madison, faces multiple felony and misdemeanor drug-related charges following an investigation by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force.

Lynn has been charged with possession of psilocybin mushrooms with intent to deliver, a Class C felony, along with four counts of Iowa drug tax stamp violations, which are Class D felonies. Additionally, he faces misdemeanor charges including possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana/THC wax, possession of MDMA (ecstasy), possession of a weapon by an ineligible person, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The charges stem from a search of Lynn’s residence conducted during the ongoing investigation. Authorities discovered a large quantity of psilocybin mushrooms and other controlled substances.

The Lee County Narcotics Task Force conducted the search with assistance from the Fort Madison Police Department. Lynn is expected to face prosecution on all counts.
