Steuben County Woman Arrested on Drug Charge After Traffic Stop

Tasha Stocum faces charges for possession of Oxycodone and more

SENECA FALLS, NY — Tasha Stocum, a Steuben County woman, was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in Seneca Falls. Officers stopped Stocum’s vehicle due to the operator driving with a suspended registration. Upon further investigation, police discovered that Stocum was also driving with a suspended license.

During her arrest, officers found that Stocum was in possession of Oxycodone, a controlled substance not prescribed to her. As a result, Stocum was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration.

Stocum was processed and released on an appearance ticket, with a court date set for her to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later time.
