TOMPKINSVILLE, Ky. — A Tompkinsville man is in custody following a theft at a local vape shop.
On Sunday, Jan. 11, a police officer responded to a complaint at Lucky 7 Vape Shop. After investigating, officers identified a suspect and located him for questioning.
Following an interview, police recovered the stolen items. Stephen Hammonds, of Tompkinsville, was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary and trafficking in synthetic drugs (first offense).
Hammonds is being held pending further court proceedings. As with all criminal cases, he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
