Stephen Boyd & Jaden Wright Arrested in Nashville Drug Bust

Traffic stop leads to drug seizure, stolen gun recovery, and arrests

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A routine traffic stop in Nashville led to the arrest of two men and the seizure of drugs, a stolen firearm, and cash, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD).

Traffic Stop Leads to Major Seizure
On Tuesday night, officers pulled over a vehicle on 39th Avenue North for a traffic violation. During the stop, police spotted marijuana in plain sight, leading to a search of the vehicle.

Inside, officers discovered:

Over three pounds of marijuana
Two full 16-ounce bottles of promethazine cough syrup
A stolen firearm (reported missing in Sumner County)
Digital scales and plastic baggies
Cash
Suspects & Charges
Stephen Boyd (26)
Boyd, who has a prior aggravated assault conviction (2022), was found in possession of the stolen gun.

Driving without a license
Two counts of drug possession
Possession of drug paraphernalia
