FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred earlier this month.
Stacey McCrowie, 44, is facing charges of first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. According to police, McCrowie is accused of shooting and killing 53-year-old Reginald Bullard on May 9 near the intersection of Starbrook Drive and Southwood Drive.
Authorities said McCrowie and Bullard were acquainted, and the shooting was the result of a personal dispute between the two men.
Following his arrest, McCrowie was booked into the Cumberland County Detention Center and is being held without bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
