Srinagar Police Arrest Three for Burglary at Mosque and Shrine

Stolen Cash Recovered and Vehicle Seized After Burglary in Nishat

Srinagar Police have successfully solved a burglary case, arresting three individuals involved in the theft at a mosque and shrine in the Nishat area.

The crime occurred during the night of February 1-2, when thieves broke into the mosque and shrine. With the help of intelligence inputs and solid evidence, police were able to identify the suspects and make arrests.

The arrested individuals are Aamir Rafiq, son of Rafiq Ahmad Sheikh alias Dobhi, a resident of Buchwara Dalgate; Mohammad Sufyan Bage, son of Mohammad Rafiq Bage from Bage Mohalla, Uri Baramulla, currently residing in Gulab Mohalla Dalgate; and Danish Bashir Khan, son of the late Bashir Ahmad Khan, a resident of Buchwara Dalgate and currently living near Sumo Stand, Khunmoh.

Upon questioning, the suspects revealed the location of the stolen cash, which was recovered. Additionally, a car that was used in the commission of the crime was seized by the police.

The case highlights the prompt action by Srinagar Police in solving a serious crime, ensuring justice for the victims, and bringing the culprits to justice.
