Srikakulam Police Solve 17 Burglary Cases, Arrest Two Men

Rs 45 lakh worth of stolen property recovered from the accused

In a major breakthrough, the Kasibugga Police in Srikakulam district have successfully solved a series of burglary cases, arresting Pola Bhaskara Rao (41) from Parvathipuram Manyam district and Muddada Narasinga Rao (34) from Srikakulam district. The two men were apprehended after a thorough investigation into a string of thefts that had plagued the area.

According to KV Maheswara Reddy, the police chief, the stolen items recovered during the arrests are valued at over Rs 45 lakh. Among the seized property are 435 grams of gold ornaments, 234 grams of silver jewellery, diamond jewellery, Rs 25,000 in cash, two motorcycles, and an SUV.

“With these arrests, we have successfully solved 17 property offences reported from various parts of the district,” said KV Maheswara Reddy, highlighting the significant success of the police operation.

The arrests bring much-needed relief to the victims of these crimes, with authorities confident that these men are linked to a larger network of thefts. Investigations continue as the police work to unravel more details of their criminal activities.
