Sparks Woman Arrested for Theft at Marshalls, Found to Have Felony Warrant

Jeannie Franklin, 48, charged with petit larceny and arrested on outstanding felony warrant

SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) — A Sparks woman was arrested Wednesday night after allegedly stealing from the Marshalls store on Disc Drive and being found with an outstanding felony warrant, according to the Sparks Police Department.

At approximately 8:00 p.m., officers responded to a call reporting a theft in progress. Store personnel informed police that a woman had concealed merchandise and left the store without paying.

Officers detained the suspect outside the store and identified her as 48-year-old Jeannie Franklin. The value of the stolen items was reported to be $50.84.

During the investigation, police discovered Franklin had an active felony warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody and booked on charges of:
